The most important accessory for anyone who wears glasses is no doubt the glasses that they wear on a daily basis. London-based PRISM believe this as well as their glasses are aimed at anyone who has an interest in the aesthetic - who is obsessed with detail but doesn’t want to lose on functionality. People that are understated, fashionable, yet measured and considered about every thing they wear or surround themselves with, male or female. The frames are produced using traditional techniques. Everything is hand-made and hand-finished. There are no moulds, so each pair of frames is unique.
They get inspiration from everything from American ’50s and ’60s vintage frames and the style on the streets of Stockholm, to the clean lines of Mexico City’s Bauhaus architecture.
Nike WMNS Dunk Hi Skinny ‘09 Holiday
The Dunk’s slimmed down sister, the Skinny Dunk has been dressed up in a glittery, sequined upper for the Holiday season. There are two colourways, a bronze/red/black and a gold/black version. The gold one is now available at Pick Your Shoes.
Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Premium TZ
A frequent collaborator with Nike, Amsterdam’s Patta releases another pair of sneakers to add to its resume, this time utilizing the Air Max 1 in a Purple denim color scheme. Aside from the denim motif, the kicks feature suede and nubuck combo uppers with custom Patta branding. Available now through Patta, in-store only
The North Face x Taylor Design Holiday 2009 Collection
The North Face continues their collaboration with Taylor Design for Holiday 2009. Today they have released the Fleece Blouson and the Zip-Up Parka. Both come in several colorways. We especially like the Fleece Blouson, which comes with nice colorful highlights. Both pieces are now available from the honeyee.store.
Robert Williams x Vans Vault Era for DQM | A Closer Look

Recently posted in the blog section by resident Ray (of Mighty Healthy) is this unique video, created by DVS. The video represents their entry to the Transworld Skateboarding ‘Skate & Create’ competition 2009. Directed by Colin Kennedy, the video displays powerful imagery, generated mainly by the extensive use of symmetrical-skating shown in both realtime and slo-mo. The video took over a week to make and it shows; check it out here.

Mishka Holiday 2009 Pants Line-Up
For the holiday season, Mishka is offering three different styles of pants appropriate for the changing elements of winter. First up is the Alexei Japanese Selvage Denim in indigo, black, grey and brown; followed by the tex-twill Chambray blend Scout Work Pant, and last but not least; the Dmitri Wool Slacks in a slender, 12 ounce wool blend (pictured above). We know the magenta tab is a but much for some, but Mishka makes a good pant. Try ‘em on if you have a chance.

The Hundreds Holiday 2009 Collection
Hot on the heels of the recent look book, we now have a more complete view of the first delivery from The Hundreds Holiday ‘09 collection. This release includes ten tees, as well as all fleece, button-ups, pants, denim, outerwear, and headwear – including of a selection of custom snapback caps, Adam beanies (pictured), and two new New Era fitted hats. The delivery continues The Hundreds’ signature West Coast style, infused with references to mid-90’s skateboard and hip-hop culture, classic sportswear, and Angeleno pride. Available this Thursday at the THLA and THSF stores.
Eric Koston x Nike SB Black/Gum Dunk Hi Preview
Kevin Imamura leaks what could quite possibly be a new Dunk Hi release from the SB camp. The sneakers pair a classic Black/White/Gum combo, being handled carefully by SB’s newest addition, Eric Koston. No word on a release or further details at the moment, but stay tuned.
Patta x Kangol Merino Beanie
Patta and their collaborative run continue as they gear up for the winter with this preview of their Merino Beanie with Kangol. The cable-knit beanie comes in two colors with a small contrasting logo sewn into the brim. The piece’s design is inspired by the heraldic symbol of Amsterdam with the colors taken from the local landscape. The Patta x Kangol Merino Beanie will release on Saturday, October 31st with a suggested retail price of €45 EUR (approximately $67 USD)
KRINK x Levi’s 2009 Fall/Winter Collection
A familiar name in the realm of graffiti, KRINK and his signature drip style makes its way onto a collection with Levi’s Japan. The five product collection includes the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK 505, the KRINK x Levi’s KRINK JKT, the “Drip” KRINK Sweat Parka, the KRINK Raglan Tee “K-60″ and the KRINK Tee “K-60″. The collection will be available on November 14th, 2009. As well a KRINK exhibition will take place between the collection’s debut and Sunday, December 13th at CINCH TOKYO who also serves as the retailer for the release.
