Nike x Todd Bratrud “Brain Wreck” Dunk Hi SB

Finally we can give you a detailed look at one of the October 2009 Nike SB Quickstrikes – the Todd Bratrud designed “Train Wreck” Nike SB Dunk Hi Premium. The shoe will be released soon at Familia Skateshop in Minneapolis. They are organizing a launch event along with an art show for the release. The afterparty will be done in cooperation with Plain Ole Bill. They also made some goodies to go along with the Dunk Hi, such as a skate deck. The Dunk Hi comes in a grey suede colorway, matching grey leather Swoosh, Brain Wreck written over the heel and pink accents. Further details come on the lining and insole

CASIO G-SHOCK GLS-5600L

Releasing next month as part of G-SHOCK’s 2009 October releases are a two-pack of GLS-5600Ls. The watch’s construction looks similar to the iconic DW-5600 with the added benefit of increased weatherproofing over other iterations of the 5600. The watch’s revamped construction allows for use in conditions up to -20 °C (approximately 68°F). Available next month at select G-SHOCK retailers.

Consequence feat. John Legend & Kanye West – Whatever You Want (Video)

Consequence drops his new video for the track “Whatever You Want”. Featured are both R&B crooner John Legend and Kanye West. The video also features directing by the legendary Hype Williams, although it remains quite tame in style. Definitely a nice piece, and we’ll let it finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

The Clink Room “Tulsa Drillers Phase IV” New Era Cap

The Clink Room launches their first limited edition New Era release following their Tulsa Drillers Phase IV moniker. The cap features a signature Italian cork board underbill with custom embroidered detailing. Only 150 caps were produced, each hand numbered and personally signed by the project designers, who are the same duo responsible for all official Major League Baseball and Minor League logos. Millennium Shoes give us an early look into the next Air Jordan 60+ colorway. The kicks following a recurring Atlanta Hawks scheme seen on a variety of Jordan models this season. Retail is set at $150 USD, like other 60+ drops, and can be expected to release at worldwide Jordan accounts, including the aforementioned Millennium Shoes, in late October 2009.

New looks into upcoming Supra Skytops can be seen here. Three new models all share a similar tonal demeanor in colors such as black, red and gray. The black and gray versions feature a woven upper while the red one is featured in patent leather. No word yet on a release date, stay tuned for more details.

Iconic Japanese artist Takashi Murakami previews a new piece from his upcoming exhibition, entitled “Self-Portraits”, at the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris. As seen in the preview, Murakami will focus on works featuring a series of self-portraits along with a multitude of other paintings and the appearance of the Kanye West Bear sculptures. Self-Portraits opens on September 15th and runs through the 17th of October, 2009.

French brand Noir Basic have offered us a preview of their 2010 Spring/Summer collection via their lookbook. The latest collection is made entirely in France from premium French materials and is composed entirely of outerwear, including various cuts of jacket and two cotton hoodies. The jackets offered cover all uses as models range from Varsity jackets to a denim blazer, motorcycle jacket and more. Each design is sophisticated in both its cut and colourway which are kept plain and simple. Upon release, each garment will appear in very limited numbers to support the brand’s philosophy of high quality, low quantity. The lookbook will be available on the Noir Basic website shortly
