In a prolific move leaving his own self-titled label to assume the reigns at Dunhill, here’s a look into some of Kim Jones’ fruits of labor for the iconic British brand. While we’re use to a strong sportswear theme from Kim Jones, a role at Dunhill has put this to the side as we’re met with more classical pieces of menswear including many staples. Seattle music label Sub Pop made its name for being perhaps the first, but certainly the most influential grunge label, having signed the likes of Nirvana, Mudhoney and Soundgarden. In 1995, the label sold 49% of its stake to Warner Bros. which makes it not overly surprising that the once anti-corporate label has now collaborated with Nike Skateboarding to produce a Quickstrike Blazer Elite. The shoe is bright yellow with black suede, a grey stripe and a star for detailing. Naturally the Sub Pop logo makes an appearance and features on both the heel and insole. Available now at RMK.
